INDIVIDUAL

COACHING

Individual coaching focuses first on articulating your vision for your future self, then creating a plan to get you there. This personalized approach ensures an action plan 100% tailored to you, with a built-in accountability partner who is committed to your growth and potential. Most clients meet with Kate twice a month for between 6 to 9 months.

INDIVIDUAL COACHING

Interested in working with me one-on-one? Individual coaching is a dynamic, personalized approach to making the changes you want to make in your life.

Coaching clients come to me for a wide variety of reasons, but common themes include:

- leadership approaches and strategies (especially for emerging or senior/c-suite leaders)

- career advancement and professional growth

- management and supervision (e.g., communication challenges, interpersonal workplace dynamics, etc.)

- entrepreneurship or new business (including starting a small businesses or startup, co-founders, investors, etc.)

- productivity and time management (including "work-life balance")

- self-care, self-compassion, and combatting self-doubt (e.g., imposter syndrome, anxiety, etc.)

- creating new, positive habits and/or ending old, harmful habits

- feeling "stuck" or out of alignment at work (i.e., craving harmony between passion, purpose, and career)

- navigating inequity, bias, and/or trauma in the workplace

- career transition (e.g., looking to change jobs or fields, readying for retirement, getting back into work)

- navigating the job market (e.g., resumes and cover letters, interview skills, pay negotiation, etc.)

All of my new coaching clients start by completing a "Discovery Questionnaire," which encourages self-reflection and helps identify and articulate the future you want to create. In our first coaching session together (which is a longer, 90-minute session), we'll go through the questionnaire and begin to put a coaching plan on paper. The coaching plan becomes our shared roadmap—a way to ensure we're headed toward your unique North Star. In subsequent sessions, we'll check in on your progress, troubleshoot areas where you're getting stuck, co-create next steps and experiments for you to try between sessions, and make adjustments to ensure you stay the course.

Most of my coaching engagements last between eight to twelve months, depending on each client's needs and goals. Typically, clients have two 45 to 60-minute sessions with me each month over Zoom or by phone, with the opportunity for "spot coaching" as needed in-between sessions if something emerges that needs urgent attention. All of my clients have ongoing access to me by email and text between sessions, and a private coaching portal with notes and resources.

My first goal is to help you figure out if I am the right coach for you. To that end, I recommend listening to my interview on the podcast "Bits of Gold," below. It will give you a good introduction to my background, coaching philosophy, and approach.

Pricing + Availability

Update Oct 20, 2023:

I am currently not accepting new coaching clients. I expect to have availability for a small number of new clients in Feb/Mar 2024. Please check this page for updates. In the meantime, feel free to email me at kate@katelivingstoncoaching.com for referrals to other great coaches in my network.

For individualized coaching, I use a dynamic pricing model with a sliding scale. This makes coaching more accessible to potential clients—regardless of their financial situations. I strive to make pricing as transparent as possible. This is a values-based decision for me. I want to work with amazing people, ready to engage in the coaching relationship fully and work hard toward their personal and professional growth and development. Money should never be the reason you can't work with a coach.

While we will talk through your individual pricing plan before we begin coaching, the chart below gives an overview of my tiered pricing structure, as well as current availability in each tier. This information is updated regularly.

To be clear, no matter which payment tier you are in, every coaching client receives the same level of commitment, attention, care, and detail from me throughout our work together. There is no difference in the coaching provided. The "pay what you can "model simply means that those who can afford to pay more make it possible for me to coach those who cannot. I am so grateful to my many clients who make it possible for me to coach people who might not otherwise have access.

Tier 1

(Self-paid)

10% of my clients are in the Tier 1 range—self-paying clients paying less than $750 per month.

Typically, these are clients who work in the nonprofit sector.

These spots are extremely limited. There are currently 0 available.

Tier 2

(Self-paid)

40% of my clients are in Tier 2

self-paying clients paying between $750 and $2,500 per month.

These clients make it possible for me to support clients in Tier 1.

There are currently 0 spots

available in this tier.

Tier 3

(sponsored)

50% of my clients are in Tier 3—workplace-supported clients paying $2,500+ per month.

These engagements typically include 360s or other assessments.

There are currently 0 spots

available in this tier.

TEAM COACHING

I love working with teams and would welcome the opportunity to talk with you about your unique situation and specific needs. Many team coaching engagements also include individual coaching for each team member, which can accelerate growth and development (see "Individual Coaching," above).

I recommend team coaching especially during times of transition—organizational restructuring, new senior leadership, mergers and acquisitions, early-stage co-founder relationships, new strategic initiatives, etc. That said, team coaching can help at any stage of a team's growth and development, especially to establish or bolster team communication, collaboration, and trust.

Pricing and structure is truly customizable, so please book a free, 45-minute "Introduction to Coaching" call on the Book Sessions page so we can discuss the ideal approach. After we meet, I am happy to connect you with a previous team coaching client if you are interested in a reference or want to ask about their experience.

RETREATS

Individual

Are you craving dedicated time and space to slow down, reflect, and think about what's next? This customized format provides guided facilitation to help you identify your core values and align your goals, passion, and purposeat work, at home, and in your wider world.

This format is ideal for someone who is less interested in larger group retreats or workshops, and would prefer to work with Kate one-on-one. Perhaps you have a coach already, or aren't looking for ongoing coaching at the moment, but need a boost to help you articulate your goals and make a concrete, actionable plan. An individual retreat will do just that!

Typically spaced over three hour-and-a-half sessions (4.5 hours total), at the end of our time together you will not only have concretely identified your area(s) of focus, but will have a roadmap for how to get there, an accountability plan to help you stay the course, and tips and tricks for how to sustain momentum.

Please take a look at the dedicated individual retreat page, and book a free, 45-minute "Introduction to Coaching" call on the Book Sessions page so we can discuss the ideal approach and structure for you. After we meet, I am happy to connect you with a previous retreat client if you are interested in a reference or want to ask about their experience.

Group and New Year's Retreats

In January, Kate often runs "Best Year Yet," an annual retreat to reset, refresh, and get clarity for the year ahead. There are usually two sessions, one for womxn and non-binary folks only, and one open to all gender identities. For an example of this retreat format, please visit the page for Best Year Yet: 2021

Staff, Team, and Board Retreats

Facilitation means "to make easy." One of the most gratifying parts of my work is transforming the usual workplace retreats and "team-building" into memorable, transformative events.

I love designing customized retreats and would welcome the opportunity to talk with you about your unique situation and specific needs. Pricing and structure are truly customizable, so please book a free, 45-minute "Introduction to Coaching" call on the Book Sessions page so we can discuss the ideal approach. ASSESSMENTS

Have you been curious about how your unique strengths and values contribute to your successas well as your challengesat work? What does emotional intelligence have to do with the ways you communicate with, listen to, and empathize with others? How can you better leverage these qualities to help you thrive?

Assessments can be an illuminating way to cultivate additional insights about yourself-insights that can be applied to every area of your life.

I am certified in the EQ-i 2.0 Emotional Intelligence assessment (including the 360-degree assessment) and have extensive experience with Gallup Strengths (formerly StrengthsFinder), the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), and DiSC. I also have experience with the Enneagram and Hogan. If there is an assessment you are interested in that I have less experience with, I am happy to introduce you to a coach in my network.

In addition, my professional background in outcomes measurement and evaluation provides me with the skills and experience to create customized assessment packages to meet your or your teams' needs. From 360-degree reviews to listening sessions, organizational culture surveys and focus groups, I can gather the data you need to help you make informed, data-driven decisions.
